The Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 (“the 2014 Regulations”) established the Local Government Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) as a career average revalued earnings scheme in accordance with section 8(2)(a) of the Public Service Pensions Act (Northern Ireland) 2014 (“the Act”).
